PUPPY PURCHASE AGREEMENT
We cannot guarantee that your puppy/dog will be show or breeding quality, nor can we guarantee the size that the puppy will be full grown! We use the attached Chihuahua growth chart for our estimates.
We do NOT sell to pet stores, brokers or puppy Mills!!!!!
Deposits/Payments:
We do require a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to hold your puppy, in the form of a postal money order or pay pal (plus the 3.5% fee). WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS! *Please Note: If you should change your mind about purchasing the puppy held, all deposits and payments made are NON-REFUNDABLE. Therefore, Dooneywear, Inc. will NOT refund any deposit or payment(s) simply because you changed your mind for any reason or under any circumstances!! Make sure you are certain about this purchase and transaction. The deposit and payment(s) are given in good faith that you are sincere about purchasing the puppy. They are only refundable or transferable if your puppy is found to be unfit and not suitable for sale, which is determined by our veterinarian at their health exam at 8 weeks of age. Deposits hold your puppy/dog of choice UNTIL ready to be placed in their new homes, which is usually after their 8 week old vet check (smaller puppies are held longer). The final payment of the puppy plus shipping (if required) must be received one week prior to the puppy coming to you.
Health Guarantee
I agree to have my puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours or the first working day after I pick up my puppy, to be proved to be in good health, free from any deformity and sound in body. I agree to provide a copy to the breeder via email, fax or mail in order for this guarantee to be in affect. If the puppy becomes ill prior to the first working day, I agree to seek emergency vet care & contact the breeder immediately. I must contact and present the breeder with a written & dated statement from my vet should the puppy be deemed unhealthy with a major defect.
This guarantee does not cover any injury sustained to said puppy after leaving the possession of the seller. This guarantee does not cover any sickness incurred by being fed a diet different that specified by the breeder or from any medications or supplements administered by someone other than the breeder or a licensed veterinarian for at least 30 days. This puppy purchased from us is guaranteed against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirasis, Parvo Virus, and Corona Virus, as long as all immunizations have been continued as scheduled by a licensed veterinarian for a period of 30 days.
We offer a one year guarantee against genetic defects. If said puppy dies before his/her first birthday from a genetic defect, this puppy will be replaced with another puppy of like kind as soon as one is available. We will not return any monies. We will not cover any costs of vet bills, delivery fees, replacement fees, nor any return to seller fees. Replacement will take place only when a letter from a licensed veterinarian who has done the examination and has provided the seller proof of genetic defect, and after all registration papers, health records, and pedigrees are returned to seller. (Seller has the option to have a second opinion done by a licensed veterinarian of sellers chosing)
This contract does not cover any puppy that may have any heat or stress related condition after it leaves our home, including but not limited to Hypoglycemia, or any condition which is preventable by Buyer. No puppy is safe from any disease unless it is kept up on all vaccinations. Once the puppy leaves the breeder/Sellers care it is understood that the breeder/Seller will no longer be responsible for the life, health, or well-being of the animal. All expenses including Veterinarian expense are the obligations of the purchaser.
I have read, received, acknowledge, and understand, the puppy care, accept the responsibility of caring for a puppy and this entire Agreement. The Buyer is responsible for any vet bills incurred while the puppy is in their possession. All medical records and registration papers are given at the time of sale.
This sets forth the entire Agreement and understanding among the parties on both sides of paper. All parties acknowledge this is the Agreement and the understandings that govern this purchase. The SELLER is available to answer any question regarding the puppy for the life of the puppy.
